The P2P Session is the persistent peer-to-peer connection behind /p2p: one link between two users that hosts a call, file transfers and games all at the same time. It lives inside the chat — setup happens before sending or accepting the invite, and accepting opens the P2P Session Console right on the chat desktop, next to your conversations.
One Connection, Every Feature
Once connected, the call starts automatically with each side's setup choices and the console keeps Files, Games and Stats one tap away. Everything runs concurrently over the same connection: share your screen, send a file during the call, start a game without hanging up. Ending any one activity never drops the others — only ending the session does.
Self-Controlled Media
Audio and video are self-controlled: each peer turns their own microphone and camera on or off independently, like a modern video call. File transfers and games still ask the other side to accept.
Closing vs. Minimizing
Closing the P2P Session Console disconnects the whole session (after a confirmation); minimizing keeps everything running in the taskbar. The status bar always shows the active session — click it to bring the console back to the front.
